Astrid Lindgren 100 years.

This wednesday on the 14th of November it was 100 years since Astrid Lindgren was born. We celebrated this with singing her songs in the assembly hall, we dressed up as characters in her books and ate a very looooong cake. I happened to run into Pippi herself in the library. The students wonder if we read her books in Scotland.

All the students in Dalaskolan painted pictures of Pippi Longstocking. The pictures were put up everywhere in school.

Look at this amazing cake! What a birthday party!

What an amazing cake. How long is it and how long did it take to make?

Hello Mrs Tonner! The cake is made by 36 swiss rolls. We do not know how long it was. It was very long. Each class contributed with three cakes. Buttons has been kidnapped for a week, next week you will hear about his new adventures.
